Regional Group #143 of The Early Ford V8 Club of America

The Early Ford V8 Club of N.S.W. is a non-profit organisation devoted to serve as a medium for the exchange of ideas, information, and parts for admirers and owners of early Ford V8’s.
Also to aid in the restoration and preservation of these automobiles in their original likeness.


Club History

In 1977 Three Ford V8 Enthusiasts Were Having A Quiet Drink
In A Small Hotel In The Southern Highlands Of New South Wales.
On That Very Afternoon The Decision Was Made To Create A Car Club
With The Purpose Of Aiding In The Preservation, Restoration And
Promotion Of All Early Ford V8 Motor Vehicles.


Today The Club Is Known As, The Early Ford V8 Club Of Nsw Inc

The Objectives Of Our Club Are As Follows:

To Promote The Authentic Restoration And Also The Use And Exhibition Of Ford V8’S Produced Throughout The Years Of 1932 – 1954 Inclusively

To Assist Members In Locating, Restoring And Maintaining Their Early Ford V8 Vehicles

To Co-Operate With Other Motoring Clubs And Associations With Similar Aims.

To Adhere To The Club’s Constitution Created And Upheld By The Committee And Members Of Our Club.

The Early Ford V8 Definition Includes All Authentic 1932 – 1954 Ford Motor Cars And Commercial Vehicles Bearing The Name Ford, Mercury & Lincoln As Being Powered By The Factory Production Flathead Engine. The Club Has Been Extremely Successful In The Last 33 Years And Has Slowly Increased In Membership And Cars.

A Few Years Ago Our Club Joined The Worldwide Parent Group – “The Early Ford V8 Club Of America”.  Our Regional Group No. Is #43 And The Parent Club Now Has Around 10,000 Members Worldwide.  This Parent Club Was Formed In 1963 And Incorporated In March 1966 In San Leindro – California.

The Restoration Of Early Fords In Australia Is Of World Class And The Club Has Won Numerous Trophies At Many Ford And Combined Car Club Events Both Here And Interstate.
The Club Has Hosted 3 Early Ford V8 National Rallies, The First At Windsor, The Second At Penrith And Our Most Recent At Mt Panorama Bathurst N.S.W., With Many Country, Interstate And International Visitors Attending.

The Clubs National And Domestic Events And Rallies Have Proved A Great Success Over The Years And Have Always Endeavored To Promote And Support The Early Ford V8 Movement In Australia.
